Tonight was the first General Meeting of the new Make Roanoke a new Makerspace that's working to get established in the Area. It was really fun to meet like-minded nerds that are as geeky as I am! There was surprisingly large turnout and the group overflowed the sizable meeting room, promising a good chance at future growth.

I'm all in. I've been a maker working on isolation for a couple decades and It's renewing to link up with others that get Making and can share ideas and inspiration with. I'm looking forward to what the group ends up doing in the future and building cool things with others.
